چکیده

The grape family consists of 16 genera and ca. 950 species. It is best known for the economically important fruit crop – Vitis vinifera. deep phylogenetic relationships character evolution have attracted attention researchers in recent years. We herein reconstruct phylogenomic within Vitaceae using nuclear plastid genes based on Hyb-Seq approach test newly proposed classification system family. five tribes family, including Ampelopsideae, Cayratieae, Cisseae, Parthenocisseae, Viteae, are each robustly supported by both chloroplast genomic data backbone congruent with previous reports. cupular floral disc (raised above free from ovary at upper part) an ancestral state Vitaceae, inconspicuous as derived tribe adnate to Viteae. 5-merous pattern was inferred be 4-merous flowers evolved least two times compound dichasial cyme (cymose secondary axes) thyrse inflorescence (a combination racemose cymose branching) Viteae derived. ribbon-like trichome only once a synapomorphy

Phylogenetic analysis of the grape family (Vitaceae) based on three chloroplast markers.

Seventy-nine species representing 12 genera of Vitaceae were sequenced for the trnL-F spacer, 37 of which were subsequently sequenced for the atpB-rbcL spacer and the rps16 intron. Phylogenetic analysis of the combined data provided a fairly robust phylogeny for Vitaceae. Cayratia, Tetrastigma, and Cyphostemma form a clade. Cyphostemma and Tetrastigma are each monophyletic, and Cayratia may be ...

Transcriptome Sequences Resolve Deep Relationships of the Grape Family

Previous phylogenetic studies of the grape family (Vitaceae) yielded poorly resolved deep relationships, thus impeding our understanding of the evolution of the family. Next-generation sequencing now offers access to protein coding sequences very easily, quickly and cost-effectively. To improve upon earlier work, we extracted 417 orthologous single-copy nuclear genes from the transcriptomes of ...

Phylogenetic systematics and character evolution in the angiosperm family Haloragaceae.

The poorly known Haloragaceae R. Br. (Saxifragales) are highly diverse in habit (small trees to submerged aquatics) and labile in floral merosity (2-4), both uncommon among the core eudicots. This family has a cosmopolitan distribution, but taxonomic diversity is concentrated in Australia. An explicit phylogenetic approach has not previously been utilized to examine relationships or character e...
